Calling all Turophiles, Cheese Lovers and Ferment Fanatics! Join us for two memorable hours as we get seriously cheesy making Mozzarella or Burrata from scratch! Hosted in Chef Falan's clean and cozy townhouse, this class is a match made in heaven for wine and cheese lovers!
In this hands-on crash course, you will be guided step-by-step how to create smooth, milky Mozzarella or Burrata cheese. We will begin by enlightening you on the process of coagulation, demonstrating how milk turns from fluid to firm curds. You will then roll up our sleeves and turn curds into the beautiful balls of cheese. You will be educated on selecting the right curd, achieving the proper water temperature and salt ratio, and how to perfect the pull/fold method of creating cheese. Our Instructor will then recommend what wines pair perfectly with your cheeses, before you and your new-found foodie friends devour your masterpieces!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen.
