Caribbean Date Night

Description

Taking place in Chef Hector's commercial kitchen, this unique cooking class gives you a taste of what it's like to be a professional chef behind a production kitchen. Don't let the unassuming exterior of the venue fool you, because on the menu this evening is nothing but boring, Caribbean delicacies: fresh and cooling ceviche, coconut crusted mahi mahi on Caribbean couscous, and finally...a fun Caribbean drink to round out your meal. A second-generation Cuban American, Chef Hector's pride and joy is to share and educate others about the vibrant culture and cuisine of Cuba and the Caribbean. This would be an excellent way to treat your special someone on a fun, delicious, and unforgettable date night!

In this highly hands-on, interactive class, you will learn step by step how to put together a phenomenal meal highlighting the best of Caribbean flavors. There will be plenty of practical and helpful knife skills along every step that you can apply in your own home kitchen. Once you have finished making you dish, we will plate, then dine together and say cheers to celebrate the fruits of our labor! Buen Provecho!

Chef Hector is accepting up to 14 people for each class for a small group experience. Whether it is your partner, friend, or a family member, you can be sure this experience will help create special memories in a safe, intimate, and clean setting. No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets in case you wish to recreate the dish on your own after the class. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask.
