Gnocchi is the famed Italian dumpling, but can be so versatile depending on what ingredients you have on hand!
Join Chef Candice in her California kitchen, in our traditional handmade Gnocchi class, where everything will be taught to you from scratch. You will learn to make potato gnocchi paired with two sauces, using only the freshest ingredients. You are encouraged to cook along with the chef, as she will take you through the recipes step-by-step.
Break out your rolling pins and get ready for an arm workout, by way of rolling pasta dough. The gnocchi will be accompanied with two classically Italian easy sauces. The first sauce is a Pomodoro sauce with tomato, garlic, parmesan cheese, and fresh herbs. The second sauce is with burnt butter and sage.
Invite your friends and family to join you for class so you can connect virtually and enjoy a fun evening of creating something from scratch, together. No experience is required! You'll have the opportunity to interact with Chef Candice throughout the class and ask questions as you wish.
You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list. However, the main ingredients required to participate along with the chef in your own kitchen include: potatoes, all-purpose flour, egg, salt, black pepper, butter, sage leaves, lemon, Parmigiano-Reggiano, tomatoes or tomato puree, olive oil, onion, dry oregano, fresh basil.
