Delicious Donuts

Description

Now is the time more than ever to turn to the sources that bring you comfort. We don't know about you, but Donuts are our soul food. They are always there when you need them to sweeten up your day!

In this fun-filled interactive class, you will enjoy working alongside classmates learning how to make donuts from scratch! Our experienced Pastry Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step in replicating the process of making, kneading, proofing, resting and shaping the dough, before teaching you how to fry, as well as bake, your own donuts.

Guests will learn to make blueberry, red velvet, glazed, and cake donuts. You will also learn to make a salted caramel glaze, espresso glaze, mirror glaze, lemon curd, vanilla pastry cream, and fruit fillings. Decorate your donuts with coconut fondant flowers, luster dust, gold leaf, sprinkles, and a variety of nuts. These donuts are sure to be works of art, and will taste even better than Dunkin.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting. Each guest will take home a half dozen donuts, and pairs will make a dozen.

You will be seated with your booking party and socially distanced from other guests. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask. Guests are welcome to BYOB (beer, wine, and champagne).
