Handmade Pizza Party

Description

Be transported to the streets of Napoli as you learn how to master the art of Pizza making!

In this fun and interactive class you will learn how to master the impressive skill of making pizza from scratch! You will begin by learning a bit of pizza history including its early beginnings, regional pizza variations and how it has transformed into the styles of pizza we know today! Our Chef Instructor will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating how to make a quick rising dough, how to choose the right flour, basic kneading techniques and how to achieve the perfect crust. We will be making Neapolitan style pizzas, shared between two people.

Channel your inner Picasso as you choose from a variety of seasonal and local produce supplied from our friends at Farm to People. Meat lovers will have options for toppings as well. Farm to People is an online farmer’s market delivering in NYC. Their mission is to make it easier to eat well at home by curating farm shares and a marketplace with the best seasonal, local produce, sustainable meat and fish, and delicious grocery staples. Class will be taking place in their warehouse, the perfect way to make delicious food surrounded by the best quality ingredients!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests in the same booking party will sit and work together throughout the class. You will be socially distanced from other booking parties. Drinks will be available for purchase at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed and drinks are NOT included in the ticket price.
