If you love fresh ravioli but don't think you could ever replicate what you would order from a restaurant, this class will prove you wrong. Our experienced Chef Instructor ShaSha will demystify the process, sharing secrets for making perfect pasta dough every time. You will be taken step-by-step through the art of ravioli making, from rolling and cutting dough to filling and cooking your ravioli. Transform the gorgeous seasonal ingredients Burrata and Basil into some of the best fillings you’ve ever tasted! Then compliment your creations with a traditional pomodoro sauce. We source the freshest ingredients to let the flavors shine through in this simple yet impressive dish. Our Chef Instructor will also go over our favorite resources in the city to find the ingredients and basic equipment you'll need for making your own pasta at home.

No experience necessary! The only requirement is a fun attitude and a love of good food. Our venue offers delicious cocktails and wines for sell that will pair extremely well with your dinner that you and your friends will prepare. We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.

Meet your chef instructor
Chef ShaSha has earned an MBA, a Master’s in Education as well as an AS Degree in Culinary Arts. Currently she teaches at AI International Culinary Institute as well as at Grossmont College in the Culinary department. ShaSha sits on the Board of Directors for the CHEFS De CUISINE San Diego Chapter. ShaSha started her career in hotels, upscale country clubs, restaurants and catering companies throughout the US. She founded 3 companies including an Event and Planning/Consulting company, Italian restaurant and a mobile Coffee/Espresso company. In addition, Chef ShaSha has been featured as a keynote speaker at industry conferences such as NACE, in various magazines such as Forbes and on local San Diego TV stations as Channel 8 and Channel 10.

Chef ShaSha brings passion and enthusiasm to the classroom by delivering creative, fun and stylish ideas. She continues to develop and learn new skills and bring these to the classroom. Her leadership and guidance have been invaluable to students and faculty. Her commitment is to help students achieve knowledge and success in their culinary career goals.

My friends and I really enjoyed this class. I perhaps wish we could each make our own pasta so we could really learn to perfect our technique with kneading. but regardless it was a lot of fun, it was very personable, we were able to ask questions and we left more knowledgable. Will definitely think about taking another class one day.
