Spinach Basil Pesto Risotto with Pan Seared Sea Bass

Description

There is a reason so many restaurants put Risotto on their menus - it’s not a dish most people attempt to cook at home! Risotto has a reputation for being fussy as it requires a lot of attention and stirring.

However in this fun and hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step by none other than Top Chef All-Star, Chef Eric Adjepong in how to make the perfect Risotto with a spinach basil pesto base.

By the end of this class, you will have gained the confidence to master your own Risotto at home, while adding your own twist with seasonal produce and proteins. Chef Eric will break down the techniques making it easy to consistently achieve a delicious result at home. Learn some knife skills and and how to pan sear your sea bass, while listening to some stories from Chef Eric's experiences competing and cooking in restaurants.

Professional cooking experience is not required and all skill levels are welcome! At the end of the class you'll be ready to sit down to the most delicious dinner. All you'll need is a generous pour of wine or a cocktail to enjoy with it.

Some of the essential ingredients you will need to cook along with Chef Eric include: garlic, basil, spinach, pine nuts, olive oil, lemon, salt, parmesan cheese, yellow onion, arborio rice, dry white wine, vegetable or chicken stock, sea bass fillets, and sugar (as needed).

You will have the opportunity to engage with Chef Eric throughout using the Zoom chat box. In fact this class is limited to 30 devices so don't miss out on booking your seat! There will also be time at the end for a formal Q&A, so you can ask him anything!

The class was great, we had so much fun. Chef Eric was great to work with and follow. The recipe shared ahead of the class was clear and Eric's instruction during the class was paced well, demonstrated well with multiple cameras, and the end result was delicious! My wife and I will definitely be looking into more classes. Thank you

Chef Eric was an incredible coach throughout the process. Very friendly, lively and fun and did a great job recognizing everyone on the call and multi-tasking to also respond to questions in the comments. We really enjoyed the recipe, learned a few new cooking techniques, and the staff were responsive when we need suggestions to replace an ingredient.

We had the best time! Chef Eric is (obviously) super knowledgeable and talented, and he shared that knowledge and those skills with us in a very approachable way. We enjoyed every minute – but especially when we got to taste our dishes and realized that they were even better than we expected. Thanks for a great experience!
