Making lunch or dinner with your kids doesn't get much better than this!
Join Chef Jen for a fun and hands-on cooking class as you take pizza dough and turn it into handmade baked empanadas. Your kids will learn how to make a beef filling from scratch (though you can replace the ground beef with a different protein of choice). Then they'll learn how to roll, fill, and shape their empanadas before placing them in the oven to bake.
Invite friends and family members to join you for class so you can connect virtually and enjoy a fun experience creating something delicious together from scratch. No experience is required! You'll have the opportunity to interact with Chef Jen throughout the class and ask questions as you go.
You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list. However, the main ingredients required to participate along with the chef in your own kitchen include: olive oil, yellow onion, ground beef, yellow or Yukon potato, garlic powder, salt, paprika, salsa, frozen veggies, golden raisins, mozzarella cheese, and pizza dough.
Measure out and prepare your ingredients ahead of the session, grab your aprons, and let’s get cooking! CocuSocial Kids Summer Camp classes are ideal for kids 6 years and older. Younger kids are welcome to join, but we recommend having a parent or guardian participating in the class along with them. Safety first!
