Join us for this hands-on cooking experience to master the Indian curry favorite, Chicken Tikka Masala.

Indian cooking is generally not attempted by many due to its complexity and use of many spices. However join us on this journey as we demystify this taboo and teach you just how simple Indian cooking can be!

In this hands-on class, you will learn the basics to sourcing and balancing herbs and spices and the art of refining the perfect Indian curry base. Chef Parsati will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating how to use proper knife skills, temper spices & onions, and cook a traditional masala sauce.

Tikka Masala is celebrated for its fine balance of garlic, ginger, turmeric, garam masala, coriander, and cumin. You will also make a Fresh Katchumber Salad to pair with your Tikka Masala.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you wish to recreate these at home after the class. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting.

*This class is BYOB! The class will take place inside Chef's home with plenty of space to social distance. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask.

Where the class will be
Guest requirement
This class is BYOB! At this time, all guests are required to wear masks during class regardless of vaccination status. Your chef instructor will wear a mask throughout the entire class as well. Guests will be allowed to remove their masks when eating and drinking. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
