
Chef Nathan is a graduate of Tarrant County College, where he earned his degree in Culinary Arts. Born and raised in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas, his passion for cooking began at the age of 12 with his first attempt at making scrambled eggs—an experience that, while not immediately successful, sparked a lifelong journey in the kitchen.
After an early mishap that briefly kept him out of the kitchen, Chef Nathan went on to spend most of his life cooking in various capacities. He has held a wide range of roles throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including dishwasher, line cook, and sous chef. He also gained experience outside the kitchen, working as a purchasing manager for nutrition services at a prestigious hospital in Dallas.
Beyond his professional life, Chef Nathan enjoys German Hefeweizen beer, playing pool, and spending time with his chocolate Labrador. A self-proclaimed romantic, he has a deep love for food, humor, and his fiancée.
