Be transported to the streets of Napoli as you learn how to master the art of Pizza making in your very own kitchen!

In this fun and interactive virtual class you will learn how to master the impressive skill of making pizza from scratch. Chef Jason will guide you step-by-step in replicating how to make a quick rising pizza dough, properly knead your dough for the the right amount of rise, and how to most importantly achieve the perfect crust. Next, you will learn how to make the perfect marinara sauce to use as the base for your pizza before adding the toppings you'll prepare together in class.

No experience is required! You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list required to cook along with the chef. Most ingredients can also be easily substituted with what you have on hand. However, here's a list of the main ingredients you'll want to consider having with you: All Purpose Flour, Salt, Black Pepper, Oregano, Basil, Sugar, Instant Yeast, Olive Oil, Egg, Garlic, Onion, Shredded Cheese, Red Pepper Flakes, Tomato Puree, Tomato, and Tomato Paste.

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Jason has approximately 20 years of cooking experience, including 8 years as a culinary instructor. He has been an instructor of science in public museum settings, which allows him to explore the physical and chemical sides of cooking. Jason also has years of experience teaching children in both elementary science and culinary instruction. He has taught public and private classes in bread, pasta, pizza, and gelato making.

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

The end result of this pizza class was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the detail in the recipe that Jason walked us through, along with the tidbits of knowledge he shared along the way. He was also very patient with our group, who all had varying levels of cooking experience. If I could change one thing about this class, it would be to include a fun way for everyone to introduce themselves to provide more opportunities for interaction, like a fun question here or there for everyone to answer, etc.

We had a fabulous evening with our family, not to mention how great our pizza turned out. Jason explained and demonstrated everything with ease. The only issue was that the ingredients and quantity online didn’t match what Jason wanted us to use. I think CocuSocial needs to update his specific recipe because it was amazing! We would definitely sign up again for an event. Thank you Jason for a great experience.
