Be transported to the streets of Napoli as you learn how to master the art of Pizza making!
In this fun and interactive class you will learn how to master the impressive skill of making pizza from scratch! You will begin by learning a bit of pizza history including its early beginnings, regional pizza variations and how it has transformed into the styles of pizza we know today! Our Chef Instructor will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating how to make a quick rising dough, how to choose the right flour, basic kneading techniques and how to achieve the perfect crust. We will be making Italy's most iconic pizza, the Neapolitan style, however you will be able to channel you inner Picasso as you choose from a variety of popular toppings to decorate your pizza!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests in the same booking party will sit and work together throughout the class. You will be socially distanced from other booking parties. Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.
Hey all! I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, in the 90’s. I worked in restaurants for some top name chefs in the business. I trained under David Burke and Ed Brown. I did 5 years at an Upper East side café as head chef; I then got experience in hotel/catering at the Marriott Marquis at 45th and Broadway. I did 7 years at The View Restaurants, and banquet operations.
In 2012, I started my own business: I work in corporate catering health care, private dinners and meal drop off and delivery.
Most recently, I began teaching and it’s incredible. I love giving back and growing new chefs. That said, won’t you join me? I can put all of my experience to work for you. Let’s make some memories!
