In the words of Jimmy Buffet, "If life gives you limes, make Margaritas." Ole!
In this 90 minute virtual class you will roll your sleeves up with Sommelier Ed and learn the basics to setting up your own Margarita bar, key drink making techniques, and how to self-calibrate the perfect Margarita every time.
You will start off by learning to make a "Classic" margarita, followed by three different variations. Experiment with sweet and spicy flavors by incorporating sugars, fruits, sauces and spices into the recipe. It's all about the science and art of proportions when it comes to mixology.
Invite your friends and family to join you for class so you can connect for a virtual cheers! No prior experience is required! You'll have the opportunity to interact with Ed throughout the class and ask questions while sipping your Margarita at the end.
You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list. However, we recommend having the following on hand: cocktail shaker, jigger or shot glass, cocktail glass, tall/soda glass, blanco tequila, reposado or anejo tequila, mezcal, triple sec, angostura bitters, coconut water, pineapple juice, cranberries, limes, salt, sugar, hot sauce, and a bag of ice.
Prepare your mis-en-place ahead of the session by measuring out your ingredients and preparing your simple sugar. Then get ready to mix up the margaritas of your dreams!
