Until you have made your own fresh pasta, it's hard to believe how different it is from store bought dried pasta. The delicate texture and flavor that comes out with fresh ingredients will be a great treat and delicious surprise for your family and friends.
Our handmade pasta recipe is not work, but pleasure. All it takes is flour, egg yolks, salt, olive oil and a desire to channel your inner pasta maker. After that we will roll out the springy dough and we'll cut the dough into fettuccine noodles. The resulting pasta is the perfect vehicle for delicious sauces.
Once our fettuccine noodles are done, we will learn how to make a delicious basil sauce that can be oil based like a pesto, or with added cream to make a decadent basil cream sauce.
No experience necessary! The only requirement is a fun attitude and a love of good food. We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Chef Michele is a certified Culinarian and certified Wine and Spirits expert, having extensive experience as a Pastry Chef and Prep Chef. She received her Certified Culinarian and Prochef Certification from the Culinary Institute of America. Additionally, Chef Michele is a Wine Steward and Sommelier, receiving her Certified Wine and Spirits Expert Level 3 from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). In addition to these accolades, Chef Michele is a successful business owner and operator, having experience with several internet sales and services businesses. Chef Michele enjoys elegant entertaining, fishing, Cape Cod beach life and creating new and exciting culinary treats! She also thrives on sharing her culinary and wine knowledge with all!
