With a few simple ingredients, a little muscle and a lot of love, whip up homemade pillow-soft dumplings just like Nonna!
In this fun, hands-on and interactive class, you will learn the tips and tricks of how to make delicious gnocchi from scratch using a classic russet potato dough. You will then shape and roll your dough into consistently shaped dumplings. Your chef instructor will guide you in making a simple yet satisfying Tomato Basil sauce to enjoy with your fresh gnocchi. This is one recipe you'll look forward to making at home over and over again! Before the class is through, you will sit down and enjoy eating the delicious meal you made along with your booking group. Chef Rich will have a welcome drink (wine or beer) available for each guest, but guests are also welcome to BYOB, such as a nice Italian wine.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests in the same booking party will sit and work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment.
