In this fun-filled interactive class, you will enjoy working alongside classmates learning how to make yeast doughnuts from scratch! Our experienced Pastry Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step in replicating the process of making, kneading, proofing, resting and shaping the dough, before teaching you how to fry your own doughnuts. You will then learn how to create classic glazes and icings, before dipping and rolling your doughnuts and finishing them off with a variety of seasonal toppings! Once you have created your doughnut delights, share in the fruits of your labor with your newfound foodie friends. There's nothing like enjoying a doughnut while it's still warm!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests in the same booking party will sit and work together throughout the class. You will be socially distanced from other booking parties.
