Learn to make French macarons to rival Ladurée. In this fun and hands-on class, you’ll learn tips and techniques for making delectable macarons, easy enough to be done in your home kitchen. Together we'll demystify the making of these highly sought-after meringue-based sandwich cookies. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the meringue mixing (macaronage), piping, baking, assembling and of course, the eating! Plus we’ll explore a few decadent flavor and filling variations (hazelnut & chocolate ganache). Macarons are delicate confections made with almond flour; perfect for those who prefer gluten-free or dairy-free treats!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Please ensure you arrive promptly with proof of Covid-19 vaccination and a form of ID for each participant. This class is NOT BYOB and drinks are NOT available for purchase at the venue.. You will be provided with a takeaway container to enjoy your food at home after class, free from wearing your mask.
