You may have dined in one of Chef David Burke's many restaurants across NY, NJ, Washington D.C. or Charlotte, but have you ever imagined learning to cook a meal along with Chef David himself?! We're thrilled to virtually introduce you to award-winning chef, David Burke, who will teach you to make a beautiful plate of tender meat, pasta, and seasonal vegetables cooked and presented to restaurant quality perfection live from the kitchen of his famous restaurant on NYC's Upper East Side, David Burke Tavern.
Chef David will be providing step-by-step instruction from prepping all of the ingredients to properly using heat, salt, and time to achieve the ideal end product. Your meal will consist of Filet Mignon with Mushrooms, Wild Mushroom Ravioli, Baby Carrots, and Asparagus.
The chef will be using techniques that are approachable for any home cook. Therefore, no experience or fancy kitchen equipment are required! Save your food scraps from class and turn them into beautiful accoutrements to your dish. Chef David has a few tips from all of his experience working in restaurants to share with you during class. We will send you a list of ingredients & equipment required to cook along with Chef David in real time. Some of the essential ingredients you will need include: Filet Mignon (7oz per serving), button mushrooms, olive oil, salt, ground pepper, steak sauce, baby carrots, asparagus spears, and your favorite ravioli.
Prepare your mis-en-place ahead of the session (according to the recipe), grab a glass of wine, and get ready to cook along with a world-renowned chef! You will have the opportunity to engage with Chef David throughout using the Zoom chat box. There will also be time at the end for a formal Q&A. Tickets are on a per-person basis.
