Don't let the sushi chef have all the fun!

Come and learn how to spread, layer, tuck and roll your way to sushi heaven. In this fun, hands-on social cooking class, you'll learn all the skills needed to make sushi rolls at home, including how to prepare sushi rice, select sushi-grade fish, and add additional tasty neta (ingredients) to enhance your dining experience. You'll learn to make three sushi rolls: California & Spicy Salmon plus a traditional seaweed out Vegetable roll from scratch at this class.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.  Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+.  Outside drinks are not permitted. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, however guests 21+ may purchase beverages from the lobby bar within the venue.

Chef Quavon, who was born and raised in Austin, TX, has always had a passion for food. From an early age, he was fascinated by the combinations of ingredients and the processes involved in growing and caring for them. This deep-seated interest has evolved into a remarkable skill for creating culinary art.

Guest requirement

The nature of our classes is set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.  To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+. Outside drinks are not permitted. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, however guests 21+ may purchase beverages from the lobby bar within the venue.  The hotel will be open to the public when you arrive so please take the elevator to the lobby floor and follow directional signage. The Cambria hotel will provided discounted valet for the evening at $20 per vehicle and will require showing a valid CocuSocial class ticket to the attendant.

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
