Risotto & Arancini

Description

There is a reason so many restaurants put Risotto on their menus - it’s not a dish most people attempt to cook at home! Risotto has a reputation for being fussy as it requires a lot of attention and stirring.

However, Risotto really is the perfect dish for all seasons. All you need is to master the base technique and the possibilities are endless!

In this fun and hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step in how to make the perfect Risotto with seasonal vegetables.

Aligning with the mindset that no ingredients should go to waste, you will also learn how to turn left over risotto into traditional Arancini to enjoy with a freshly made Arrabiata sauce!

By the end of this class, you will have gained the confidence to try mastering your own Risotto at home using locally sourced ingredients. Plus, you'll have learned two additional recipes that you're sure to practice making at home again and again.

No experience is required! All equipment and ingredients will be provided. Our events are casual and meant to be fun, relaxing and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get settled, wearing your mask. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Amanda's house with ample space to social distance booking parties from one another. Chef Amanda is also maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines. You are invited to BYOB beer, wine, or champagne with you to class.
