Is there any other dessert out there more sophisticated than fluffy and soft vanilla souffle drizzled with rich creme anglaise? Though creating a perfect evenly risen souffle may seem intimidating, once you know the proper techniques, anyone can feel confident to recreate this lovely dessert at home.

Join Chef Michele, in her Cape Cod kitchen, while she takes you through the step-by-step process of making 4 individual (or one large) souffles from scratch.

Invite your friends and family to join you for class so you can connect virtually and enjoy a fun time baking something delicious together, from scratch. The taste testing will surely be the best part!

No previous baking experience is required and all skill levels are welcome! But remember, baking is a science. So it's important to follow the recipe and have the ingredients measured out properly so that at the end of the class you'll be ready to sit down to the most delicious dessert. You'll have the opportunity to interact with Chef Michele throughout the class and ask questions along the way.

You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list. However, the main ingredients required to participate along with the chef in your own kitchen include: butter, flour, whole milk, vanilla, granulated sugar, eggs and heavy cream. A stand mixer is recommended for this class, but an electric hand mixer will also work.

Chef Michele is a certified Culinarian and certified Wine and Spirits expert, having extensive experience as a Pastry Chef and Prep Chef. She received her Certified Culinarian and Prochef Certification from the Culinary Institute of America. Additionally, Chef Michele is a Wine Steward and Sommelier, receiving her Certified Wine and Spirits Expert Level 3 from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). In addition to these accolades, Chef Michele is a successful business owner and operator, having experience with several internet sales and services businesses. Chef Michele enjoys elegant entertaining, fishing, Cape Cod beach life and creating new and exciting culinary treats! She also thrives on sharing her culinary and wine knowledge with all!

Please make sure you have everything measured out and ready as described so that you can follow along with our Chef in real time! Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

This was my very first CocuSocial class and it was so much fun, and it far exceeded my expectations. Chef Michele is a great instructor. She is warm and inviting and made me feel comfortable from the moment I joined the class. Her instructions and demonstrations are clear and informative. She is encouraging and I love that she shares a little history of the food and the reason for the techniques used for preparing the foods. This was also the very first time I attempted to make a soufflé. This vanilla soufflé is simply AMAZING! Chef Michele's instructions and guidance made the experience a huge success, and I know that I could not have done this well with just the recipe alone. 2nd class with Michele... love the way she breaks everything down into the simplest form and uses comparative descriptions to be sure you always know what texture, color, aroma you are looking for. She takes the time to bring everything very close to the camera and stirs so you are seeing the contents as though you were in the kitchen with her. Great extra tips that come up during the classes also. Love her classes, would recommend them to anyone (and do!)

Michele was AMAIZING!!! This is my second class with her and I have learned so much. I am a science teacher and have absolutely enjoyed learning the science behind the recipes Michele uses. Last night I was her only student, so the one on one time was much appreciated and enjoyed. I will continue to take classes through CocuSocial. P.S. Chef Michelle is fantastic! This was my first class with her and I will DEF taking more! I was a bit nervous about doing a soufflé (I had previously tried one (or two) at home . . . But she made it so easy!!! Chef Michelle explains everything in depth and checks our locations to be sure different weather, elevations, etc. which might effect our cooking is all inclusive in her directions. Ie., how elevation might effect the rise of our soufflé, etc. She also teaches little tricks and possible substitutions for ingredients. She explains the chemistry behind the cooking as well! Michelle is a professional chef that facilitates an array of students and achieve delicious results by instruction of her recipe. I enjoy watching her prepare a recipe and listening to her culinary tips. She engages her students by her preparations but allows us to duplicate her outcome. It amazes me how she can do all this in one session.

Chef Michele makes the evening fun while slipping in the science of cooking. I have taken two cooking classes with Michele and each time the recipe was delicious and she made it feel effortless (and we made Risotto and the Vanilla Soufflé- not so easy). I will sign up for more sessions and learn how to make New Orleans Style Beignets and the Chicken Pot Pie from Scratch! Yum! Thanks for the lessons Michele!
