Escape to the bustling streets of exciting Barcelona while exploring the world of Spanish Tapas!
In this energetic and interactive class, you will learn how to master three delicious tapas recipes. Our Chef Instructor will enlighten you on the background of Tapas culture, before taking you through a detailed demonstration of how to construct each of the dishes. You will then be guided step-by-step in replicating how to make Homemade Pesto to spread over Catalan Bread, Gambas al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp), and Queso de cabra (Baked Goat's Cheese). After creating your Spanish masterpieces, you will have time to sit down with a glass of wine (BYOB of your favorite Spanish wine) and eat your Tapas creations to your hearts content! Buen Provecho!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.

Chef Yanni owes her talents to her years of study at the Culinary Institute of Mexico in Puebla, where she graduated as an international chef. Originally from Toluca, Mexico, she developed her culinary skills by experimenting with new flavors and trends that she discovered while traveling throughout her home country and across Europe. Chef Yanni gained priceless experience while working at the Ritz Carlton in Paris and at the Mayan Palace in both Acapulco and Cancun, in Mexico. She completed her culinary training at Ecole de Paris Patisserie Boulagere in Paris, France.
