You will follow along as Chef Michele teaches you how to make the moist carrot cake and frosting. As an added bonus she will teach you how to candy walnuts for a tasty and crunchy decoration.
You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list. However, the main ingredients required to participate along with the chef include: olive oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, confectioners sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, all purpose flour, cinnamon, baking soda, sea salt, baking powder, carrots, cream cheese, butter, and walnuts.
Prepare your mis-en-place ahead of the session by measuring out all of your ingredients as per the recipe, and let’s get baking together!
Chef Michele is a certified Culinarian and certified Wine and Spirits expert, having extensive experience as a Pastry Chef and Prep Chef. She received her Certified Culinarian and Prochef Certification from the Culinary Institute of America. Additionally, Chef Michele is a Wine Steward and Sommelier, receiving her Certified Wine and Spirits Expert Level 3 from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). In addition to these accolades, Chef Michele is a successful business owner and operator, having experience with several internet sales and services businesses. Chef Michele enjoys elegant entertaining, fishing, Cape Cod beach life and creating new and exciting culinary treats! She also thrives on sharing her culinary and wine knowledge with all!
