Aah!, Gnocchi, these pillowy ricotta dumplings are in a pasta category of their own!

In this class you will learn how easy it is, and fun to prepare gnocchi from scratch. You will knead, form, and cook the gnocchi. Then Chef Brian will demonstrate how to make the classic Pomodoro with fresh basil sauce, as well as a brown butter sage sauce to accompany your pasta. So come on out, have fun, learn how to make gnocchi just like Nonna!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

The nature of our classes is set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.

Chef Brian started his culinary journey working in pizzerias early in life in Queens, New York. With a love for pizza and passion for cooking, he attended the New York Food and Hotel Management School in N.Y.C.  After graduating, he was offered the opportunity to spearhead the start-up of a gourmet pizzeria in N.Y.C. Chef Brian has worked in hotels, restaurants, corporate dining, and taught hands-on cooking in adult community education.  Chef Brian is currently the chef for a renowned upscale deli and caterer on Long Island N.Y where he lives; He is married, has two children, and of course makes pizza regularly!

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Our cooking class with Brian was amazing! He did a great job of explaining the proper techniques to make the perfect gnocchi. It was very easy to make and he broke it down to be simple enough to replicate at home. Not only did he teach us how to make delicious gnocchi, he was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the pasta as well as the explanation behind the techniques used in the class. I definitely would recommend this class with Brian to others!
