Begin your journey to becoming a sushi master! Learn the techniques, tips and tricks to creating beautiful restaurant quality sushi, serving sauces and condiments at home!
In this hands-on two fun-filled hours, you will gain some insight into the world of sushi, by learning where to source the best sushi ingredients, basic Japanese knife skills and how to spread, layer, tuck and roll four different types of sushi. This class will focus on the Maki Roll, the traditional Inside Out Roll, the Temaki Roll; commonly known as the Handroll, and finally the elegant but most challenging of all the sushis, the Nigiri. You will also be working with garnishes such as sesame seeds and tobiko, and sauces including spicy mayonnaise, soy sauce, wasabi, and eel sauce!
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.
