This class can only accept bookings of 2 or more. If you are booking your class as a group please make the reservation under one name, as a full booking group.

Escape to the streets of Thailand as we create the most famous Thai dish, a flavorful Pad Thai.

In this fun and hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step in recreating this Thai classic known for its diverse flavor profile of sweet, salty, sour and spicy. You will learn basic knife skills, how to properly prepare the traditional noodles and how to build the flavor profile of an authentic Pad Thai sauce from scratch! You will also put your knife skills to use as you learn to properly prepare your ingredients for cohesive cooking and flavor. Once you have created your masterpiece, you will then plate, garnish and devour your dish along with your fellow foodies in class. You will also gain insight on how to source fresh, seasonal ingredients and specialty spices in order to recreate the perfect Pad Thai again at home.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, however guests are invited to BYOB (beer, wine, and champagne only).

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Jeff has an extensive culinary profile in his 12+ years in the food and beverage industry. Starting his career in studies under the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu school of culinary arts, obtained his associate degree and continued his culinary path in distinguished resorts and restaurants across the country. In 2017, he moved to Ecuador to work aboard a luxury yacht in the Galapagos Islands as Chef de Cuisine. Chef Jeff also formed part of Miami's own Michelin star group, Ariete, in their restaurant Nave- as their sous chef. Shortly after, he began dedicating time to another one of his passions, teaching culinary and embarking on the process of culinary instructor for schools and organizations in Miami. With knowledge of culinary from all over the world, as well as professional in many culinary techniques, he now looks forward to teach the aficionados his experience and take you on a journey of flavors and experiences.

Located on the corner of the iconic Wynwood Building in Miami’s world-renowned edgy arts district, Miam Café & Boutique boasts a simple, fresh menu offered in a place where people can gather and enjoy fresh and homemade food and drinks all day long in a relaxed atmosphere.
Guest requirement
The nature of our classes is set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price. Guests are invited to BYOB (beer, wine, and champagne only). The cafe will be closed to the public when you arrive so you will have to enter the class by going through the shopping center. The door to enter the class is between the sign for MIAM Cafe and the ice cream shop.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
