Spanish Tapas

Description

Escape to the vibrant streets of Barcelona and discover the rich flavors of traditional Spanish tapas in this lively, hands-on cooking experience!

In this fun and interactive class, our Chef Instructor will introduce you to the history and culture behind Spain’s beloved tapas tradition before guiding you through the preparation of several authentic, restaurant-worthy small plates. You’ll learn step-by-step techniques for creating a delicious spread of classic Spanish favorites, including Chorizo in Wine Sauce, Tortilla Espanola (Spanish Omelette) and Gambas al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp).

After cooking, sit back, relax, and enjoy your tapas feast alongside your fellow food lovers. Whether you’re a seasoned home cook or a complete beginner, this class is the perfect way to experience the bold flavors and warm hospitality of Spain. ¡Buen provecho!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.

You will be seated with your booking party and socially distanced from other guests.  Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment.  Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.  To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+.  Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price.  Guests who are 21 and over are invited to BYOB (beer, wine, and champagne only).
