Roll Your Own Sushi

Description

Discover the Art of Sushi-Making

Join Chef Tim for a fun, hands-on sushi class that goes beyond rolling to teach the true foundations of great sushi—starting with the rice. In this interactive experience, you’ll learn how to properly cook and season Nishiki sushi rice using both stovetop and rice cooker methods, prepare flavorful sauces, and confidently handle a variety of sushi ingredients.

What You’ll Learn

Chef Tim will guide you through essential sushi-making techniques, including proper rice preparation, ingredient selection, and rolling methods. You’ll create classic sushi rolls such as a Philadelphia Roll, California Roll, and Dragon Roll, while learning presentation tips and creative variations.

Insider Tips

Along the way, Chef Tim will share insider guidance on sourcing high-quality, sashimi-grade fish, including access to overnight-shipped options from Japan so you can continue practicing at home.
