Love authentic Italian food but can't hop on a plane to Italy every time a craving strikes? We've got the next best thing!
Join us for a hands-on pasta-making class where you'll learn how to create fresh fettuccine completely from scratch using just a few simple ingredients you likely already have at home.
With Chef Emma's expert guidance, you'll mix and knead an egg-based pasta dough, roll it out, and cut it into beautiful ribbons of fresh fettuccine. Then, Chef Emma will demonstrate how to prepare a classic tomato sauce that perfectly complements the pasta, showcasing the simplicity and timeless flavors of traditional Italian cuisine.
By the end of class, you'll have the skills and confidence to recreate this authentic Italian meal in your own kitchen.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests will work in groups throughout the class, sharing equipment and ingredients. Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.
Emma is a proud graduate of Hudson Community College and Fairleigh Dickinson University. During her studies, she had the privilege of collaborating with a chef at her college who helped ignite and guide her passion for baking.
Her professional journey began at Choc O Pain in Jersey City, a bakery known for its authentic French pastries and artisanal breads. There, she refined her technical skills in French baking while deepening her appreciation for the craft and discovering her desire to teach.
Emma’s dream is to share her passion for French baking with as many people as possible, inspiring others through both technique and creativity.
Guests can park on the first floor of the garage at no cost (there will be signs saying no hotel parking but day guests can). ONLY park in the garage. Other spots are liable to be towed. Classes will take place in the hotel Bistro, which is straight through the lobby doors and down to the space in front of our Starbucks. The nature of our classes are set up so that guests will work in groups during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Booking parties will sit together. Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.
