There’s nothing so delicious as fresh pasta, and creating it yourself.
If you love fresh ravioli but don't think you could ever replicate what you would order from a restaurant, this class will prove you wrong. Our expert Chef Instructor will teach you to make pasta dough from scratch by cracking an egg in a well of flour then mixing it all together with a fork. After forming and kneading your dough, you will use a pasta machine to roll it out before filling your pasta sheets.
You will make and enjoy your handmade ravioli with a pumpkin puree filling. Your Chef Instructor will demonstrate how to make a browned butter sage pesto with pumpkin seeds. This recipe is so simply seasonal for the winter months!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Drinks are available for purchase at the bar. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only please.
Chef Justice had the blessing of being born and raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan for three generations. Living in this diverse community exposed her from birth to the tastes and smells of Soul Food from lots of countries. This shaped her culinary point of view from the very beginning. We all have soul food no matter what the culture. She learned this by eating Jewish foods, Chinese foods, Puerto Rican and Italian foods on a daily basis. It is part of the tapestry of who she is, both as a human and a Chef. Justice has a degree in Restaurant and Hospitality Management. She has been running her own Culinary and Consulting business now for over 15 years and has worked in large scale to boutique establishments.
