Intro to Korean Cuisine: Bulgogi & Bibimbap

Description

Due to limited seating, this class can only accept bookings of 2 or more. If you are booking your class as a group please make the reservation under one name, as a full booking group.

Join us on a culinary journey through the history and culture behind some infamous Korean dishes. Hosted by our resident Korean Chef Instructor, you will have the unique opportunity to learn the cultural history of Korean cuisine and traditional techniques from the most authentic source!

In this fun and hands-on class, you will be guided step-by-step in creating your own Bibimbap with marinated and cooked beef (bulgogi). Served with a homemade gochujang sauce on the side, you will get to taste and enjoy the most common bibimbap variation here in the US. Learn how to properly cut and plate your vegetables and garnishes, marinate and cook your beef and veggies, and assemble your dish to enjoy over rice. Once you have created your warming and nutritious bowl of delicious food, you will sit down and enjoy eating your meal with your newfound foodie friends.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests will work in groups of 4 to share equipment. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price.

Need to have smaller groups per dish so that there’s no shortage of activities. Also more quantity for the main dishes please.
