In this complete hands-on class, you’ll learn how to create delicious Chinese Dumplings completely from scratch! Our expert Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step through refining your knife skills, making two different dumpling fillings, and learning the art making and folding your own dumpling dough.
Guests will have the opportunity to make a traditional pork filling or veggie filling for their dumplings. You will learn three traditional folds to master the most authentic way to make your own dumplings at home: mandu, gyoza, and shumai. Chef Diego will teach the proper techniques for cooking the dumplings, using both steaming and pan frying methods. Before sitting down to enjoy your creations, you will make a scratch dipping sauce using soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and sesame oil.
No experience is required! All equipment and ingredients will be provided. Our events are casual and meant to be fun, relaxing and instructive, not hardcore.
