Massaman Curry and Fresh Spring Rolls

Description

Due to limited seating, this class can only accept bookings of 2 or more. If you are booking your class as a group, please make the reservation under one name as a full booking group.

Discover the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia in this hands-on cooking class! You’ll learn how to prepare a rich and aromatic Chicken Massaman Curry, known for its warming spices, creamy coconut base, and perfect balance of savory and subtly sweet flavors. Tofu will be available as a substitute for vegetarian guests. Please let us know when booking if you are vegetarian.

To accompany your curry, you’ll also master the art of making fresh spring rolls, learning how to soften and roll delicate rice paper around a colorful combination of fresh vegetables, herbs, and other flavorful fillings.

Chef Saruj will guide you through each step while sharing techniques for balancing flavors, working with traditional ingredients, and recreating these dishes at home.

By the end of class, you’ll sit down to enjoy your freshly prepared Massaman curry and spring rolls—a delicious combination you’ll want to recreate again and again.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group.

Guests will be seated with their booking party and will share ingredients and equipment.  Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.
