Hand-Rolled Sushi
Don't let the sushi chef have all the fun!
In this fun, hands-on, and interactive class, learn how to spread, layer, tuck and roll your way to sushi heaven! Your Chef Instructor will teach you the tricks of the trade on how to make sushi and spring rolls like a pro. Learn the recipe for perfect sushi rice, cut your fresh ingredients using proper knife skills, and master the art of rolling using a variety of techniques.
All participants will make three rolls: Spicy Scallop Hand Roll,Inside Out Roll (with yellowtail, cucumber, and mango), and a Shrimp Spring Roll. Enjoy your rolls with two custom made-from-scratch sauces: Thai Sweet Chili Peanut and a Basic Spicy Mayo.
All you need to bring to this class is your curiosity and appetite! You can be confident this class will be an absolute delight whether the occasion is for a family activity, team building event, or surprising your partner on a romantic date night. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Our venue partner, Quigley Fine Wines, will have a wonderful selection of pours waiting for you. Please note that drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in your ticket price. Outside drinks are not permitted. 21+ only

Though Florida was home for the first few years of life, it was in New York—amid the bustle of multicultural neighborhoods and iconic delis—where Chef Scott was raised and first exposed to the diversity and vibrancy ofworld cuisine. Inspired by family traditions and the melting pot of the New York culinary scene, He soon set sights on the professional kitchen. That dream led westward to California, where he trained under acclaimed chefs and refined their technique in some of the state’s most innovative kitchens. In 2018 Chef Scott launched his own culinary brand— quickly earning a loyal following and critical acclaim. Now, after years of success in California, Chef Scott is coming full circle—returning to Florida to bring his culinary vision back to where it all began.
