Imagine yourself in the bustling streets of exciting Barcelona while exploring the world of Spanish Tapas from your own kitchen! In this class you will learn three classic small plate recipes that are sure to impress your tastebuds. Plus, there's the added bonus of learning how to make your own sangria from scratch!

Join Chef Jerry in his Bronx Kitchen as he enlightens you on the background of Tapas culture, before taking you through the step-by-step instructions of how to construct each of the selected dishes. You will make your own Tortilla Espanola (Spanish Omelette), Shrimp Al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp), and Spanish Chorizo in a Red Wine Sauce. Get ready to sauté, roll, fry, and flip to your heart's content.

No experience is required! You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list required to replicate the meal from your own kitchen. Most ingredients can also be easily substituted with what you have on hand. However, here's a list of the key ingredients you'll want to consider having with you to cook along with the chef: Red and White Wine, Brandy, Orange Juice, Sugar, Orange Liqueur or Triple Sec, Orange slices, Apple slices, Lemon slices, Mint Leaves, Club Soda, Ice, Eggs, Salt, Ground Black Pepper, Garlic, Bay Leaf, Chile Pepper, Olive Oil, Potatoes, Onion, Parsley, Shrimp, Chorizo (or sausage of your choice), and Honey.

Prepare your mis-en-place by measuring out all of your ingredients ahead of class (as described in the recipe you will receive), grab a glass of vino tinto, and let’s get cooking!

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Jerry has been cooking professionally for over fifteen years. He has worked in many restaurants and amassed a plethora of knowledge in different types of cuisines. His primary specialty has been in Spanish and Italian cooking. However for the past six years, his focus has been on creating healthy and dietary tolerant cooking including Keto, low carb and vegetarian cooking. Chef Jerry was also inspired to begin his own personal journey to a healthier lifestyle, in which to date he has lost over eighty pounds! He now wishes to share his experiences and inspire others to follow a healthy lifestyle as he himself has been inspired to make better life choices and enjoys cooking new dishes!

We will be sending you a list of ingredients and equipment you would need for this class. Please make sure you have everything measured out and ready as described so that you can follow along with our Chef in real time! A Zoom link will also be shared with you upon registration.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Amazing! Chef Jerry is always a great time, and a competent chef and instructor. He is great about checking in with every participant, and adding his own flavor (figuratively and literally) to the course. He makes sure to give lots of tips that go beyond the course, and is great at recapping things at the end. You can tell he really wants you to understand the recipes, and how to cook them properly. This is my second time with Chef Jerry, and I would absolutely take a course from him again.
