In this lively hands-on class you’ll learn to make tortillas from all purpose flour, using either a rolling pin or tortilla press. Your Mexican Fiesta nights will never be the same once you've mastered the classics from an expert instructor.
In this virtual class you’ll learn to make two different fillings - one meat and one shiitake mushroom based. We highly encourage having some guacamole, salsa, and chips on hand! It’s a delicious and easily come together menu you’ll be able to enjoy with friends and family any time you want. No experience is required! We will send you the equipment and ingredients list, which are easy to find and you may already have them in your home kitchen. Just make sure you have these essential ingredients: all purpose flour, baking powder, kosher salt, ground black pepper, salted butter/coconut oil/vegetable shortening, shiitake mushrooms or ground beef/chicken/turkey, cooking oil, white onion, paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, tomatoes, fresh cilantro, and limes. You will have an opportunity to interact with Chef Michele and ask questions throughout.

Additionally, Chef Michele is a Wine Steward and Sommelier, receiving her Certified Wine and Spirits Expert Level 3 from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). In addition to these accolades, Chef Michele is a successful business owner and operator, having experience with several internet sales and services businesses. Chef Michele enjoys elegant entertaining, fishing, Cape Cod beach life and creating new and exciting culinary treats! She also thrives on sharing her culinary and wine knowledge with all!
