Kimbap are Korean rice rolls that might look like sushi but Korean rolls use sesame oil in the rice and a variety of fillings. Jumeokbap, also sometimes known as "fist rice" is a Korean rice dish made from a lump of cooked rice made into a round loaf the shape of a fist. You will learn to prepare the perfect rice, select the freshest ingrediants and follow a recipe that features the inclusion of bulgogi, a classic Korean dish of thinly sliced and flavorful beef. This casual and easy to follow class will surely engage all your senses!

All you need to bring to this class is your curiosity and appetite! You can be confident this class will be an absolute delight whether the occasion is for a family activity, team building event, or surprising your partner on a romantic date night. BYOB Beer and Wine or Sake is welcome.

To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+.

Growing up in a family that loves food, Chef Meena Lee started her culinary career in her early 20's. Inspired by her mom and grandmother who were both chefs, Meena naturally inherited culinary skills at a very young age. Her love and passion for food led her to pursue a career in the culinary industry. Being a Korean-American, she has an extensive knowledge and experience with both Asian and Western cuisine. She has been working as a food columnist and instructor for over 20 years then ran her own catering business for 10 years.

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
