Created for any lover of chocolate, this decadent introductory class is sure to make your sweet tooth sing! In this fun and hands-on experience, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the making of chocolate ganache, tempering chocolate, piping, assembling, and hand dipping truffles. You will explore a few yummy flavor and coating variations as well! Deck your truffles out with cocoa powder, powdered sugar, sprinkles, coconut, and non pareils for some delicious variety. Sharing your chocolately creations is most certainly optional!
No experience is required! All equipment and ingredients will be provided. Our events are casual and meant to be fun, relaxing and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get settled, wearing your mask. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Amanda's house with ample space to social distance booking parties from one another. Chef Amanda is also maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines. You are invited to BYOB beer, wine, or champagne with you to class.
