But best of all, we will be making some delicious finger sandwiches, scones, and a lemon tartlet to ensure you’ll have a wonderful tea-time experience with your friends and family!

In this fun, interactive virtual class, you’ll be making sweet and savory items to accompany a pot of your favorite tea. Follow along as we create lemon curd tartlets, scones, and dainty finger sandwiches filled with either salmon-watercress, strawberry-chicken salad, and/or asparagus-prosciutto-goat cheese.

No experience is required! We will send you the equipment and ingredients list, which are easy to find and you may already have them in your home kitchen. We had fun doing this class. I enjoyed hearing about the history of afternoon tea. Since I like to bake, I have made lemon curd and scones before, but really enjoyed trying out these new recipes. I took the class with my daughter and found that doing it together was a great way to do it, because prepping afternoon tea is more complicated than it sounds, because there are a lot of ingredients and details that just make afternoon tea a special event.Everything was very tasty and I impressed my elderly next-door neighbor with the fixing for an afternoon tea.

I enjoyed the class and really appreciated all the history Frances shared. At times she moved a little too fast.

We struggled to keep up a bit, but we had a great time and enjoyed a lovely tea with family afterwards. Frances was a very good instructor. Would definitely take another class with her!

Such a fun afternoon! Fran was a patient and helpful teacher and the resulting food was absolutely delicious. Next time I will do more prep work before the class begins. Would recommend to a friend!

Overall great class. Recipes were wonderful and so was the teacher. My only feedback would be to let the students know that it would be helpful to have ingredients prepared and measured ahead of time. Would cut down on a little bit of chaos and allow for more interaction.
