During this hands-on class, Chef Chris will guide you through the step-by-step process of creating homemade Orecchiette pasta dough, teaching you the traditional techniques needed to achieve the perfect texture and shape. You'll learn the intricate art of forming each "little ear" by hand, ensuring that your pasta boasts an authentic homemade taste and texture. Once your Orecchiette pasta is expertly crafted, it's on to the Vodka Sauce. You'll learn how to infuse flavors and create a velvety smooth sauce that perfectly complements the hearty texture of the pasta.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don't already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Chris has been cooking and learning since the age of 5 and attended the most
prestigious cooking school a chef can attend: his grandmother! He has spent a lifetime
learning the techniques of cooking, baking and gardening and after graduating with a
degree in Industrial Psychology from Penn State University, he decided to dedicate himself
full time to his culinary passion. After working his way up from dishwasher at Brookside Country Club, he has worked as an executive chef in multiple kitchens and now owns and operates his own catering company, Handcrafted Catering, which specializes in scratch cooking modern takes on Old World dishes.

To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+.
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

My girlfriend and I took this class. It was a fun night out and definitely enjoyed learning how to make pasta. Ended up being delicious to boot, and had some leftover for the next day even. Would definitely do again!
