Take a break from New York City's bustling bar scene and retreat to a more private, relaxed setting with this unique Wine and Cheese pairing class. Savour and sip the nuances of both new and old world wines sourced from all regions in this memorable culinary experience.

Whether you consider yourself a self-proclaimed wine and cheese aficionado, or just have a general appreciation of both, this class will teach you how to pair artisan cheeses with the perfect counterpart. Guided by our expert Sommelier, you shall have the opportunity to taste and contrast six different wines, paired with six different cheeses, which will be on a rotational basis by seasonality. From learning how to speak like a Sommelier to discovering the world of wines, you will be enlightened on the differences in winemaking, history, wine regions, tasting techniques, flavor profiles and everyday practical wine appreciate tips such as how to blind taste! Through this wine tasting journey, it will be our goal to awaken and calibrate your palate as you embark on this life long adventure with wine and cheese!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and material.Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. 21+ only.

Meet your chef instructor

Chef Adriel is a hospitality guru having been in the industry for over nineteen years. He has thrived in the roles of Executive Chef, Certified Wine Sommelier, Mixologist, General Manager, Food & Beverage Director and Service Director. He has accumulated a wealth of knowledge from working within a variety of establishments, ranging from 3 Michelin starred restaurants, to Five-Diamond Hotels, to some of the most exclusive nightclubs in New York City. Chef Adriel has authored food & beverage menus for restaurants and bars and organised and hosted events and competitions alike. Having achieved a formal education in wine and hospitality, Chef Adriel prides himself in passing on his culinary knowledge to staff, guests and his students. He also loves incorporating his Spanish and Cuban heritage into his food and wine classes, showcasing all of the incredible flavours and styles these cultures bring.

It was an excellent class. Adriel is very knowledgeable and conveys a genuine sense of caring about educating people on wine. He had a nice technique of getting people to start talking with each other and opened with an attention-getting champagne bottle opening that was very fun to watch. I would highly recommend this class.
