Handmade Dumpling Party

Description

Roll up your sleeves and get ready to learn the craft of making Asian Dumplings!

You will learn how to craft dumplings from scratch—starting with perfectly seasoned fillings and ending with crispy, golden results. This class features pan-fried Japanese gyoza finished with a beautiful, lacy cornstarch lattice—a show-stopping technique that creates crisp texture and stunning presentation, just like at a high-end sushi restaurant! You will also hone your knife skills by preparing a variety of fillings from scratch, including savory pork and vegetable, vegetarian, and fully vegan options made with fresh seasonal produce, tofu, and umami-rich ingredients.

No dumpling experience is complete without the perfect sauce! We will show you how to create a balanced, flavorful dipping sauce using soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili oil, garlic, and optional plant-based additions.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you do not already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you are part of a large group. Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the venue bar. Classes are intended for adults 21+.
