Handmade Pasta 101
There is noting so delicious as fresh pasta! With only a few simple ingredients you will make the most delicious pasta with your own hands. Expect to get your hands full of flour in this hands-on cooking class where you will learn how to make hand cut pappardelle as well as two homemade sauces- fresh Pomodoro and butter and sage sauce with squash for these restaurant-style dishes. The chef will also provide a seasonal salad to complement your homemade pasta dish.
No experience necessary! Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive. The only requirement is a fun attitude and a love of good food. Our venue offers delicious cocktails and wines for sale that will pair extremely well with your dinner that you and your friends will prepare. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen.
Originally born and raised in Vietnam, Chef Huong spent eight years in the Philippines and five years in Thailand, where she honed her skills in South East Asian Cuisines. Inspired by her mother who used to be the Head Chef at the Embassies, Chef Huong continued to master her expertise not only in Asian cuisines but also Italian cuisine, and pastry art and cake decoration. She cannot wait to share her stories, recipes, and her passion with everyone!
