Fresh Fettuccine with Homemade Pesto

Description

Ready for a little taste of Italy? Join Chef Tara for a fun, hands-on cooking class where you'll learn to make fresh pasta and classic basil pesto completely from scratch!

We'll start in Liguria, the Italian region famous for pesto alla Genovese. Forget the food processor! You'll learn how to make pesto the traditional way using a mortar and pestle, combining fresh basil, garlic, Parmesan, and other simple ingredients into a delicious sauce packed with flavour.

Next, it's time to get your hands dirty making fresh egg fettuccine! Chef Tara will walk you through the process, from mixing and kneading your dough to rolling it out and cutting it into perfect ribbons of pasta. You'll learn some classic Italian techniques along the way, then toss your homemade fettuccine with your freshly prepared pesto for a meal that's hard to beat.

Once the cooking is done, we'll gather around the table to enjoy everything you've made together. It's a chance to learn something new, share some laughs, meet fellow food lovers, and enjoy a delicious meal without having to book a flight to Italy!

No experience is needed! Whether you're a pasta-making pro or someone who usually leaves the cooking to someone else, this class is all about having fun, trying something new, and enjoying the process. Come with friends, bring a date, or make it a night out and meet some new people. We'll provide all the ingredients and equipment, so just bring yourself and an appetite!

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class, sharing ingredients and equipment. Classes are intended for adults 18+. Drinks are available for purchase at Society Clubhouse and are not included in the ticket price.
