There’s nothing so delicious as fresh pasta, made from scratch.
Escape to Italy for an evening to master the traditional dish, Fettuccine Carbonara. Learn the art of making this indulgent dish from scratch- kneading the pasta dough, creating its Fettuccine form (or linguini if you prefer), and then assembling the ingredients to make a traditional Carbonara sauce.
Our Chef Instructor will take you through a detailed demonstration, walk you step-by-step through the process of creating your Fettuccine. Our Chef Instructor will take you through the history and theory of pasta and Carbonara before we get started with our cooking. In addition to the handmade pasta and sauce, guests will create a scratch Balsamic Vinaigrette to enjoy along with a side salad. The best part is digging into your delicious meal that you expertly crafted from scratch.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests in the same booking party will sit and work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Chef Rich will have a welcome drink (wine or beer) available for each guest, but guests are also welcome to BYOB.
Chef Rich is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, and has spent the past 30 years honing his skills throughout the East Coast and Southern United States.
