Learn the fine art of baking and patisserie from our expert Chef Instructor and Artist! This class will get you thinking about the process of combining ingredients to create delicious masterpieces in a whole new way! Starting with a pencil and an index card...

In this unique, one of a kind and hands-on class, you will learn to make some of the most popular desserts, Biscotti and Crème Brûlée (classic or espresso chocolate flavored) with a balsamic berry syrup. Class will begin with an opportunity to taste ready-made versions of these desserts to allow for a stronger understanding of the flavors and textures you like best. Each dessert will be demonstrated from scratch by your chef instructor before allowing you the freedom to create your own. Before sitting down to enjoy your delicious custom creations, you will be given a tutorial on the Art of Plating. Get your cameras ready! We can't wait to see your dessert art work.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests in the same booking party will sit and work together throughout the class. You will be socially distanced from other booking parties. However, please note that guests who choose to attend class alone may be asked to pair up with another single booking. Please note that class does not take place in a professional kitchen. Guests will be set up in the restaurant of the Sheraton Tribeca. Outside drinks are NOT allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.

Meet your chef instructor
Chef Justin creates cross cultural small plate health forward cuisine, which is informed by years as an established Fine Artist. His culinary scope of experience spans 20 years, beginning at age 17 in Modern French fine dining. He went on to master traditional Italian and French sauces and pastry, Southern fine dining, Caribbean, Creole and Modern Fusion pastry. His current practice merges broad spanning styles and approaches with the best available ingredients, fostering creative problem solving, inviting us all to the vibrant life that awaits us as a Chef.

Guest requirement
All guests will be required to show proof of full vaccination in order to participate in class. Your Chef Instructor will be checking vaccine cards and apps during check in. Guests are required to wear masks during class except when eating and drinking. Booking parties will be socially distanced from one another while eating. However, please note that guests who choose to attend class alone may be asked to pair up with another single booking. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Really enjoyed Chef Justin’s demonstration of the biscotti and crème brûlée. He was clear and easy to follow. He had one-on-one time with each student to show them how to work certain skills. It was really fun and interactive. And the food was soooo yummy!! It’s really fun to take with friends.
