In this unique, one of a kind and hands-on class, you will learn to make some of the most popular desserts, Biscotti and Crème Brûlée (classic or espresso chocolate flavored) with a balsamic berry syrup. Class will begin with an opportunity to taste ready-made versions of these desserts to allow for a stronger understanding of the flavors and textures you like best. Each dessert will be demonstrated from scratch by your chef instructor before allowing you the freedom to create your own. Before sitting down to enjoy your delicious custom creations, you will be given a tutorial on the Art of Plating. Get your cameras ready! We can't wait to see your dessert art work.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests in the same booking party will sit and work together throughout the class. You will be socially distanced from other booking parties. However, please note that guests who choose to attend class alone may be asked to pair up with another single booking. Please note that class does not take place in a professional kitchen. Guests will be set up in the restaurant of the Sheraton Tribeca. Outside drinks are NOT allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.
