German Feast: Wiener Schnitzel & Spaetzle

Description

Join Chef Michele from her Cape Cod kitchen as she treats you to dinner, German style. Learn the recipe for the classic Wiener Schnitzel, which you can substitute for chicken or pork if you prefer. Then master the art of making Spaetzle from scratch to serve with your Schnitzel. (Try saying that ten times fast!) Spaetzle is a German egg noodle, which is squeezed out of a press or colander and into a pot of boiling water to hold it's shape.

All you'll need to add is your favorite German beer to enjoy once your meal is cooked. Prost!

You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list. However, the main ingredients required to cook along with the chef include: veal cutlets or ribs (can substitute chicken or pork), salt, pepper, all purpose flour, milk, butter, eggs, lemon, breadcrumbs, oil (for frying), and parsley.

Prepare your mis-en-place, by measuring out your ingredients, ahead of the session and let’s get cooking together!

Tickets are on a per-person basis. Please note our class times are in Eastern Time Zone!

The chef was super nice and very informative about the meal. She spoke about the cultural origin about foods of eastern European countries. I have attended many cooking class'es on CocuSocial and no one ever did that before. I would take another class with Chef Michelle for sure.
