Hand-Rolled Sushi

Don’t let the sushi chef have all the fun!
Come and learn how to spread, layer, tuck and roll your way to sushi heaven. In this fun, hands-on social cooking class, you’ll learn all the skills needed to make sushi-rolls at home, including how to prepare and season sushi rice, select sushi-grade fish, and add additional tasty ingredients to enhance your dining experience. You’ll learn to make a traditional roll and an inside-out roll with the fillings of your choice from the chef’s seasonal selection of vegetables and fish.
You will work with other students in groups of 2. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.

Meet your chef instructor
After graduating summa cum laude from Culinary Institute LeNôtre with not one, but two culinary degrees, Chef Terry utilized his gastronomic talents and entrepreneurial spirit as a gourmet Personal Chef. Chef Terry then began working his way up the restaurant kitchen food chain going from line cook to sous chef and finally to executive chef. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with others and teaching them how to make creative, delicious and nutritious meals.

Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.

Robert and I had an amazing date night learning how to roll sushi with Terry. There was a mix-up over groupon that sent us to the wrong address. Robert and I ended up late, but Terry was incredibly accommodating and apologetic and even left us additional time after class to make more rolls and give us more help. The class was full of fun and laughter. Terry was a great instructor, and he clearly cared about everyone's experience. I don't write reviews often, but I felt the need to for this class.

Terry was a great teacher! I learned a lot and best of all...had lots of fun making sushi! Definitely recommend their sushi making class. I walked away 5 sushi rolls!

Great class! Chef Terry was encouraging and gave us lots of tips on making sushi at home. All the participants made several sushi rolls and we left with the confidence to do this on our own. We even had sushi to take home. I would be happy to do more of Chef Terry's classes.

Fantastic and fun sushi class. Terry was extremely helpful, engaging, and had the right amount of humor mixed in. The set-up of the class led to interaction among other participants, if you wanted to, and Terry dedicated time to be attentive to each person's questions. Highly recommend to anyone who likes Sushi or wants to give it a try.
