In this fun and highly hands-on class, you will learn with our expert Chef Instructor of Lebanese/Jordanian background how to chop and prepare the ingredients using the right knife skills, make tahini sauce from scratch, form and cook the falafel balls, and make hummus from scratch. At the end of the class, enjoy a healthy and energizing spread of falafel, hummus, simple salad and fresh pita bread with your new foodie friends. You’ll find out about where to source traditional Middle Eastern ingredients in the LA area.
No experience necessary! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
