Chinese Dumplings

Due to limited seating, and to ensure proper social distancing is in place, this class can only accept bookings of 2 or more. If you are booking your class as a group please make the reservation under one name, as a full booking group.

Discover the flavor-packed world of dumplings!

In this fun, hands-on class we will cover the history of Chinese dumplings, discuss crimping styles, assorted fillings, dipping sauces and then we get busy. You will have a chicken lemon filling and a veggie filling. You will fill, seal, and crimp your own dumplings (making three different styles of dumplings), and then pan fry them and dip them in a sweet Thai chili sauce. Let the dumpling party begin!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

You will be seated with your booking party and socially distanced from other guests. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask. Beers are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.

Meet your chef instructor

Hey all! I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, in the 90’s. I worked in restaurants for some top name chefs in the business. I trained under David Burke and Ed Brown. I did 5 years at an Upper East side café as head chef; I then got experience in hotel/catering at the Marriott Marquis at 45th and Broadway. I did 7 years at The View Restaurants, and banquet operations.

In 2012, I started my own business: I work in corporate catering health care, private dinners and meal drop off and delivery.

Most recently, I began teaching and it’s incredible. I love giving back and growing new chefs. That said, won’t you join me? I can put all of my experience to work for you. Let’s make some memories!

Owner Mike has always had a deep appreciation for well-crafted flavorful beer, especially India Pale Ales and he decided he would try his hand at making one. It seemed like the perfect hobby for a new father often stuck in the apartment with his newborn son. His first beer turned out exceptional and Mike was hooked! Soon after, he began growing his own hops and branching out from IPA’s to many other beer styles. Entering numerous homebrew competitions, he had won medals in 12 of 14 by 2018, including the National Homebrew Competition. Inspired by visits to breweries around the world, recalling moments from his time spent in Zimbabwe, Mike’s vision of building a microbrewery in his hometown took form. In 2017 he set out to find a suitable location. After much hard work, pitfalls, and hurdles Wolf & Warrior Brewing Company opened its doors in January 2019. The brewery is named after his two sons Vuk & Branko. Mike’s wife Jelena is from Belgrade, Serbia and the boys’ names literally translate from Serbian to English as: Wolf & Warrior.

Guest requirement
Guests are required to wear masks during class regardless of vaccination status. Guests will be allowed to remove their masks when eating and drinking. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Beers are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only
Cancellation policy
Reschedule request have to be made at least 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. Cancellations are not permitted and tickets are non-refundable.See terms and policy.
